investigative service Fees

Hourly Rate

We charge $125.00 per hour (per investigator) beginning from the time we leave our office, until we return to the office at the conclusion of the job.

Contract / Retainer For Investigative Services

We use a standard contract that protects our agency as well as our Clients. On average, we work-off a retainer of $2,500.00 to $5,000.00 that's due up-front. Most investigations are initially capped at $5,000.00.

Miles, Database Fees, etc.

Milage is charged at a rate of 0.655 per mile. Database and search fees are passed along to our Clients as well as other incidental expenses.

We want to ensure that we get you, our clients, the very best results. We use the top three paid sites: TLOxp (TransUnion), Delvepoint (IRB) and Tracers. We also have access to the State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Services and are able to obtain "Driver History Abstracts" and "License Plate" inquires for a legal purpose. Additionally, Zimmerman Investigative Services has authorized access to the New Jersey State Police, and is able to obtain "Criminal History Abstracts" for a legal purpose.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

The Client understands and agrees that a "Contract for Services" can be discontinued or canceled at anytime; it must be done in writing and delivered to this Agency by certified mail, electronic mail with signature or hand delivered. The Client agrees that all services rendered prior to cancellation will be charged to his/her account. A cancellation fee of $150.00 will also be applied to the Client’s account.

The Client understands and agrees that Zimmerman Investigative Services, LLC reserves the right to terminate the investigation and/or contract for services at any time, no cancellation fee will be imposed, however all services rendered at the time of the termination will be deducted from the retainer and the balance will be refunded to the Client.

The Client agrees that he/she has read and fully understands this Agency’s aforementioned Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and acknowledges the aforementioned prior to sending any payment(s) electronically through this website.
